For more than seven decades, our beloved region has stood as a cornerstone of leadership, service, and sisterhood—empowering families to make a lasting impact in their communities and shaping the next generation of African American leaders.

The South Central Region is steeped in rich history and cultural vibrancy, spanning states that embody both tradition and transformation. We are represented by 38 sensational chapters from the soulful rhythms of Louisiana, the steadfast spirit of Texas, to the land of enchantment known as New Mexico.  Our region reflects resilience, unity, and a deep commitment to excellence. We honor those who came before us—visionary mothers whose courage and dedication built the strong foundation on which we continue to stand, grow and thrive.

As we embark on this program year, we proudly unite under our regional theme, “Together We R.I.S.E.” — Rooted in Leadership, Igniting Passion, Serving with Purpose, and Excellence in Action. This theme reflects not only who we are but how we will continue to lead—with purpose, intention, and unwavering unity.

As the Regional Director and on behalf of the entire Regional Executive Board, our vision is to lead as collaborators, working hand-in-hand with our mothers, chapters, and regional team to amplify the incredible work happening across South Central.  We are deeply committed to being a supporting of the vision —honoring the ideas, initiatives, and innovations that strengthen our organization. Most importantly, we remain steadfast in our belief that everything we do must advance our children – their leadership, their confidence, and their future.

Together, we will continue to R.I.S.E.—upholding the legacy of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated while building new pathways for excellence and impact. When we lead together, we grow stronger. When we serve together, we make a difference. And when we R.I.S.E. together, we secure the promise of tomorrow for the children who will one day lead us forward.
